Have a heart … and a craft or two at the Public Library

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Many Valentine’s Day events being offered along with eValentines, Victorian card display

Red may be the color of love, but it’s also the color of your library card from the Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County. Use it this year to create your own special Valentine’s Day gift or to send an old-fashioned card to your modern-day sweetheart. Plus, be sure to visit the display of antique Victorian valentines on display at the Main Library.

Victorian Valentine Display
Visitors to the Main Library, 800 Vine Street, can view the Victorian valentines that are on display in cases by the elevators on the second and third floors of the South Building.

Valentine eCards
If you can’t make it downtown to the Main Library, visit the digital Victorian valentine collection at  http://tinyurl.com/b5wh6bp. From the website you can select and send one of the digital cards with a personal message to someone for Valentine’s Day.
