CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19)-The Clifton Cultural Arts Center (CCAC), an urban regional arts and learning center in the heart of Clifton’s gaslight neighborhood, will host an official ribbon cutting ceremony from 4 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, October 26, 2010, with the ribbon cutting occurring at 5 p.m. The ribbon cutting ceremony will be the public’s first chance to view the CCAC’s newly renovated third floor.

Revitalization of the third floor is part of the CCAC’s first phase of renovations. The third floor will feature a newly renovated auditorium, enhancing the CCAC’s ability to use the space for future concerts and performances. From October 2010 through May 2011, the CCAC will host a different theatrical act for children and their families on the second Sunday of each month in the newly renovated auditorium. The public will also be able to rent the space for weddings and other community events.

Other facets of the completed first phase of renovations include the construction of an elevator that will transport visitors from the ground to the third floor of the building, the installation of a new fire protection system and the creation of a new entrance into the building that is ADA-compliant and wheelchair accessible
