Title (Max 100 Characters)
CINCINNATI (FOX19) - April is National Poetry Month! To celebrate, the Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County is inviting teens ages 12-18 to commit their “randomest” acts of poetry for the 10th Annual Random Acts of Poetry Contest.
Teens can email entries to TeenSpot@CincinnatiLibrary.org or turn typed or handwritten poems in to any Library location for a shot at a great prize.
New this year! The Public Library is partnering with Elementz Hip-Hop Youth Arts Center to offer teens tips on writing poems that communicate a story or message, and how to share poems with their peers as a performance art. The TeenSpot, located in the Main Library, will host five workshops on select Tuesdays and Saturdays in April.
