New facility coming for Christ Church Glendale | Community Spirit

GLENDALE, OH (FOX19) - Construction is set to begin on a brand new home for the Episcopal congregation at Christ Church Glendale.

Plans announced on Tuesday include a new chapel, office, classrooms and fellowship space to replace an existing glass-walled building which was erected in the 50’s.

Demolition of this building will begin in March.

The new structure will connect the two historic buildings and is designed to facilitate worship and ministries, both within the church and in the wider community.  Construction should be completed in about ten months.  The final structure will complement the campus to provide enhanced space, security, and energy efficiency.

A webcam mounted on the church will provide viewers with a real-time look at the project.
