Two days of community celebrations kick off in Norwood | Community Spirit

NORWOOD, OH (FOX19) - The annual Norwood Day Parade will go as scheduled on Tuesday despite the threat of storms.
Norwood Chamber of Commerce Executive Director, Kathy Walters says that all plans will go on as scheduled unless the storms become too severe.
The theme for this year is “Norwood: There’s No Place Like Home”. The theme honors returning soldiers who fought in foreign lands, away from their families for months and years. This is the 120th parade set to begin at 7 p.m.
Community celebrations continue on Wednesday at Coney Island for the annual picnic.
The entire community is invited to this event July 25.
Admission wristband includes Sunlite Pool, miniature golf, rides and soft drinks. Parking is free when you enter Gate 1.
Tickets available at the gate or in advance at Norwood City Hall or the office of Terry Long, Agent, American Family Insurance, 3962 Montgomery Road.
