In vitro babies (and families) get together | Families

CINCINNATI (FOX19) - On Monday evening, the University of Cincinnati Center for Reproductive Health will hold its 21st annual holiday reunion for families UC Health physicians have assisted with pregnancy by methods such as in vitro fertilization and ovulation induction. The event takes place at the Kingsgate Marriott Conference Hotel.

Over 300 people—including babies, children and young adults conceived with the center’s assistance—are expected to attend the event, which is hosted by the center’s director, Michael Thomas, MD.

The UC Center for Reproductive Health was established in 1988 and has been offering in vitro fertilization since 1990. The center is a division of the University Of Cincinnati College of Medicine’s department of OB-GYN and is the only comprehensive patient care and research unit focused on women’s health in the Cincinnati area.
