Beech Acres Parenting Workshop Is For Parents Of Young Children | Families

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Beech Acres Parenting Center is offering a two-part workshop that will provide parents of young children with the latest research information on how to give their baby’s brain the very best start using every day activities and the five senses.
The Beech Acres STEPS (Security, Touch, Eyes, Play and Sound) workshop will help parents understand how early learning occurs. Among the topics to be covered:
* How security helps babies develop bonding relationships with their
caregivers.
* How touch is connected to all areas of learning.
* Why babies focus on movement and faces and why face time is critical.
* The role of play in learning.
* How babies brains are wired for language and how they communicate
even before they can speak.
This is part of Beech Acres’ ongoing For the Love of Kids workshop series. It will be Saturday, April 21 and 28 from 10 a.m. to NOON. Cost is $50 per person for both days or $90 per couple.
