SHARONVILLE, OH (FOX19) - Take a stroll around the historic Heritage Village while enjoying the warmth, sights, sounds and smells of a 19th century holiday season during Holly Days. The event is Sunday, December 16 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Listen to music from the Princeton High School Chamber Orchestra String Quartet from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. and the Cincinnati Dulcimer Society from 2:00 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. Enjoy old fashioned holiday crafts, cookies, train displays, storytelling and more.

Admission is $7.00 for adults and $5.00 for children age five to 11. Heritage Village Museum Members and children under 4 are free.

The Heritage Village Museum is located inside Sharon Woods at 11450 Lebanon Road, Sharonville.

GLENDALE, OH (FOX19) - The community is invited to Chrismas on the Square in Glendale on Wednesday, December 5 from 4pm - 7:30pm.

Family activities will include free horse and carriage rides, Stevens puppets will perform 'The Wizard of Oz' at 6pm in the tent, live music all evening and Santa will arrive at 5:15pm and his is providing fre carosel rides for all children.

The Harry Whiting Brown table will have hot dogs for roasting over the fire, and the Home Tour booth will be raffling off a 2-ticket + commemorative poster package for this weekend's Home Tour.

They will also have posters ($25) and tickets for sale at the discounted $20 price.

GLENDALE, OH (FOX19) -  Santa Claus will be making an appearence on Friday and Saturday at the Glendae First Presbyterian Church.

Santa will be listening to Christmas gift requests and making photo-op's with every member of the family, even your pet.

Santa will be at the chuech on Friday evening, November 30th, 5:00-8:00 pm and Saturday, December 1st, 10:00 am – 3:00 pm. The cost is $10.00 for each 5X7 photo and an e-card photo can be added for $6.00. 

All proceeds go to the Community Youth Group, sponsored by the First Presbyterian Church, Glendale.

Public Library offers activites to entertain everyone during the holidays

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - The Public Library of Cincinnati & Hamilton County is offering a wide variety of holiday activities and events at several branches through December. Come watch a favorite holiday movie, hear a story, decorate a cookie, make homemade wrapping paper, or listen to some seasonal music. There’s plenty to do and ehre's just a sampling.

Some Holiday Highlights:

Christmas Spider Ornaments at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, Madeira Branch — Make a beaded spider ornament in honor of the famous folktale of the Christmas Spider. Registration required. 7200 Miami Avenue. 513-369-6028.

Snow Princess Tea Party at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, Groesbeck Branch —Enjoy a story and a movie while having delicious snacks. Everyone will make their very own princess ornament. All girls ages 4-10 are encouraged to dress as a princess. 2994 W. Galbraith Road. 513-369-4454.

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Tis the season to be jolly! So why not make a visit to the Main Library part of your downtown holiday tradition?  Whether you are 2 or 92, there’s something for all ages.  Bring your entire family to enjoy all the excitement surrounding “Dazzle Days” during the first three Saturdays in December. From 1-4 p.m., there will be lively music and interactive performances all in the spirit of the season presented by popular entertainers in the Reading Garden Lounge.  

On Dec. 1, the musical performances by Grammy nominee Zak Morgan at 1 p.m. and College-Conservatory Music Voice Instructor Will Reed at 3 p.m. will add holiday cheer to your afternoon. In between performances, make ’n take a craft together as a family or watch your kids’ faces light up as they create their own holiday mementos.

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Reservations are currently being  accepted by the Hamilton County Park district to have Brunch with Santa in Winton Woods.

Santa will visit the Mill Race Banquet Center on December 9 and 16. The buffet offers over 25 items, carving station and omelette bar.  Santa will be greeting children of all ages and listening to wish lists. A complimentary 4X6 photo will be given to each child additional photos will be available for purchase..
