SPRINGFIELD TWP, OH (FOX19)- Police arrested a suspect on Friday in connection with a Springfield Township stabbing that left three people injured.
Shawn A. Mathews, 23, was arrested and charged with three counts of felonious assault.
Police were called to the 2000 block of Bluehill Drive around 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday for a reported fight with shots fired, in addition to a vehicle leaving the scene with the alleged victim.
The car was spotted by an officer on Hamilton Avenue, with three males all suffering from multiple stab wounds.
Two of the victims were taken to area hospitals for treatment, and the third victim refused treatment.
Mathews last known address was on Roosevelt Drive, just a street over from where the scene was reported. Police have not yet revealed the location of his arrest.
