Taft Museum of Art displays students’ artwork at Main Library
CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - The Taft Museum of Art’s annual Artists Reaching Classrooms (ARC) exhibition is on display through May 16 in the atrium of the Main Library. The exhibit showcases art, including painting, photography, digital design and ceramics, created by students from 12 area high schools.
Each work is accompanied by an artist’s statement, providing an explanation of the student’s process and intent. ARC is a program offered by the Taft Museum of Art that immerses high school art students in Cincinnati’s visual arts community and exposes them to art careers and professionals. Scholarships are being awarded Wednesday, May 1, during a 5:30 p.m.-7 p.m. reception at the Main Library.
